July Minutes

The Board Meeting for Sunrise Homeowners Association was held on June 30, 2020.  Board members in attendance for the meeting were Kim, Dave, Tom, Woody and Britt.   Kat Betts, the representative from the Management Company was also in attendance. The meeting was held by Zoom Virtual Meeting due to COVID-19.

CALL TO ORDER:  The meeting was officially called to order at 6:01 pm.

MINUTES: The June meeting minutes were reviewed.  There are a couple of typos that Kat will fix.   Motion by Dave to approve as written, seconded by Tom, all approved.

FINANCIALS:  July financials were not ready at the time of this meeting.  Kat did get an updated list from the attorney and shared with the Board. Kat will send the Board the final reports when they are ready to go.

COVENANT VIOLATION LETTERS:  Kat did send out a 2 letters to 2 different homeowners in regards to covenant violations at their properties.   There are no response from those homeowners as of the date of this meeting.  There are two other houses that have violations that Tom will send the information over to Kat so she can send out letters to those homeowners.

EMAILS/WEBSITE:  Woody is still working on the email as Hugo seems to still be on the website access.   Britt needs to be added to the board email, and Woody will handle that.  Going forward for now, emails will need to be sent to all board members individually.

 INSURANCE: Kat is still working on getting bids for insurance coverage.   Since the HOA has been annexed by the City, looking for coverage for the D&O and professional opinions of what coverage is actually needed.   Kat will send when she has them.

ANNUAL MEETING: Kat will reach out to the attorney to see what we can do about the annual meeting during the COVD pandemic.   Can we postpone it, have a zoom meeting, mail out for the meeting etc.   More to come.

BOARD MEETING: Next board meeting is August 18, 2020 at 6pm
